Packet Pick-Up: There will be a packet pick-up for all pre-registered runners from 5 to 7 PM on Friday, May 3, 2024, at Cooper’s in the lighthouse Tiki Bar, 701 N. Washington Ave., Scranton, PA 18509.

FUN RUN

Starting in the shadow of the Electric City Sign in Downton Scranton, PA, participants will pass The University of Scranton, Penn Paper, the Dwight Schrute mural at On&On, Cooper’s Seafood House, and more. Participants are encouraged to dress up as their favorite Dunder Mifflin character for fun and prizes. Walkers are welcome! Make sure not to carb load on a bowl of fettuccine alfredo IMMEDIATELY before this 5k as Michael Scott did in the “Michael Scott’s Dunder Mifflin Scranton Meredith Palmer Memorial Celebrity Rabies Awareness Pro-Am Fun Run Race for the Cure.”

The Office 5K is a road race in Scranton, PA that passes sites featured on NBC’s “The Office.” Participants can dress up as their favorite Office character for fun and prizes. Walkers can walk the full race or enjoy a modified 1 mile course with special activities along the way.

The race begins at 1pm on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at the 500 Linden Street block in Scranton. Cooper’s Seafood House (701 N. Washington Avenue) will host a pre-race party on May 3 from 5-7pm where participants can pick up their race bibs, tee shirts, and race info. (These items are also available day of the race.) A post-race party and awards ceremony will be held immediately following the event, with additional celebrations continuing at Cooper’s.

Participants who register by April 21 are guaranteed a shirt.

Day of Registration/Packet Pick-Up: 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM.

Awards: The top male and females will receive an award. The top male and female masters finishers will win awards as well. The top males and females in the below age groups will win awards.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

FRIDAY, MAY 3

5:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Pre-race Party at Cooper’s Seafood House, where participants can pick up their race packets

SATURDAY, MAY 4

1:00 PM: The Office 5K begins on the 500 block of Linden Street (race packets are also available the day of the race).

Post-race parties will be held immediately following the event at Backyard Ale House and Cooper’s Seafood House.
