Five stars for Nicole at the front desk. Went in with my wife and two young kids, like we do every Wednesday. We sat for a good 20min with no waiter/waitress or drinks. Kids started getting very irritated, as were my wife and I. We decided to just leave and go elsewhere. Nicole stopped us at the door and went above and beyond to reseat us and get us food right away. It was some of the best customer service I've ever had. She really made sure our experience was great from then on and made our night. Thanks again!

Best place for great seafood. Atmosphere is quirky but charming.

We were not impressed at all, overpriced, and underwhelming. The steaks were over cooked and tough. The only good item was the crab Rangoon dip. I spent $200 plus and was not impressed at all will not return.

This place is great on a spring-summer-fall when you can sit outside. There are neat things like an overhead train for the kids. The place is a little out dated but the service is always nice. Definitely a place to go if you are in Wilkes Barre.

Very disappointed by the low quality of the food. It's not that it's disgusting or gone bad, it's just on the low end of ingredient selection and preparation... and way overpriced for what it is! For such prices you should expect much better food. Impressive building with many rooms and a ton of decorations... all over the place. Don't expect any quality, it's a basic family restaurant with the service you would expect from such a place. I was misled by the many praising reviews... ouch. The gift shop didn't disappoint, though!

My wife and I came up to Montage Mountain for WMMR's Cardboard Classic, so I looked up some places to eat in Scranton ahead of time. Cooper's stuck out immediately and the menu had alot of tasty options. We ordered the New Englans clam chowder and the crab/cheese topped pretzel for apps. The soup was some of the best I've had and the pretzel was also very good. For our entrees, my wife got the ribeye steak with shrimp and I had the pot roast and perogie combo. Her steak was cooked perfect and the butter sauce on her shrimp was great. My entree was also delicious, all the food was on point and really impressed me. We will definitely be making another trip up here just to come to Cooper's. Shout out to our waitress Kristall too, she was very attentive and pleasant. Always kept my drinks coming when she noticed I was getting low, always appreciated.

My family and I had the BEST experience at Cooper’s Seafood House! The customer service is top notch. Our waitress Abby was very attentive and Nicole made sure we were well taken care of. The restaurant has so many fun themed rooms and each one of them has so many interesting things to look at. The whale room has old toys and games all over the walls, and it brought back a lot of memories for the Gen X members of the fam! The food was excellent! Each of us got completely different things, including the lobster, clams, scallops, shrimp and pasta with garlic chicken. Usually the land lovers have to suffer through a seafood restaurant-but not here!!! Overall, I can honestly say that this was one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to in terms of the food, service and overall experience. A+ We’ll be back again!

Fair. The one email I used from your site required a phone number, but it wouldn’t accept it because it ran the numbers together. There was no space bar or period button. I also called and left a voicemail. I didn’t get to talk to a person. I love Cooper’s and have been going to the Breakfast Buffet for a few years now.

Happened to find this place on The American Roadside Attraction App.. so happy we did.. we spent hours looking around their mini museum and eating..service and food was very good and they do so many fundraising for the community.. if in the area it's a must visit

Will NEVER forget the time I got a severe case of food poisoning that started at the restaurant shortly after eating my seafood platter. Likely the weirdly shriveled up mussels and dried out shrimp that the waitress just shrugged off. This after a 1.5 hr wait for a table on a busy Saturday night. Management blew me off when I spoke to them. So poorly handled in every way. I missed work for a couple days and my parents had to drive up and take care of me. Such a bad experience that I've never gone to a seafood restaurant that far inland again.

I've eaten here a few times in my work travels. Sadly, this has been my worst experience to date. Food was way overcooked. I won't send food back, so I ate only a few bites. I informed my server about it and told her no hard feelings. In my past experience the food has been excellent. Just an off night I hope. Will definitely come back for another round next time I'm in Scranton.

we ordered the crabby pretzel and the menu said cheddar and crabmeat... it came loaded with spinach and parsley !!! my boyfriend was very disappointed as he does not like spinach and parsley !!! I think your menu should have stated that ! HE will never send food back so we ordered the reg. pretzel with cheddar and the waitress said it comes with spinach and parsley in the cheese as well !Iate the pretzel my boyfriend did not and he is the one that really wanted it !!!!

Pleasant enough atmosphere but definitely needs updating, including the menu! Not at all a large selection and needs some new choices! Friendly staff and the food that is available is tasty!

I found Cooper's Seafood House in Scranton! I just got an appetizer, but it was such a bright spot in the middle of dark times! It was a museum, a restaurant, and a roadside attraction all in one! I took so many pix and enjoyed exploring the whole place! It was such a fun place that I am so happy I found! They even had a The Office themed gift shop! And I love everything nautical! Crystal, my server, was awesome. The appetizer was huge and I gave half of it to my son when I got home. The service was great, I absolutely appreciated this very bright spot it a month full of stress. I am so happy I found you!

It's so cool in there. The history of this place is unreal! I had the chicken scampi on rice it was delicious.
