Food was bad to mediocre, service was horrendous.

Update: Their seating system and staff could not handle our group of eight people. They have a system that tracks your position in a seating queue. We were second in the list when there was a mixup and we were dropped from the list. Rather deal with it fairly they simply put us at the end of the queue again and expected us to wait another hour. No thank you. Tires Enjoyable eclectic sea food restaurant. Love all the memorabilia scattered throughout. Definitely my favorite restaurant when visiting Scranton. Lots of menu items to choose from. Slight up-charge for credit purchases.

Stopped in for the anniversary week. Great time. Professional job done Nicole at the front desk keeping everything running smoothly. Also, hats off to the best bartenders around, Victoria, Tommy, and Tayna. Fantastic job in the middle of all of that chaos.

We attended the 76th Anniversary event and from our appetizers to our dinners everything was delicious. The cold shrimp were phenomenal and the oysters on the half shelf were excellent. The .76 cent beer was good also.

Yep. Came here because of my favorite television show. Food was good. Atmosphere was what to be expected. I enjoyed most of my experience. The ONLY reason why "service" got 2-stars is because of the gift shop girl. She was fun. Our waitress, however, was SO unfriendly. We seriously felt like we were bothering her with our existence and taking up a table in her section. We aren't the type to complain over dumb things, and as a polite pushover, I felt like I was doing something wrong being a patron. First time we have EVER left a bad tip (my husband worked as a waiter through college). He is very aware of when someone is busy, new, or just doesn't care/annoyed. She fell in the "doesn't care/annoyed" category. 3-stars because the food was good, gift shop fun, and the atmosphere was notable. Would have been 5-stars if the waitstaff wasn't lacking. The cashier at the gift shop earned the service the 2-stars... 5 if I was only going off her customer service.

The staff were generally delightful, the atmosphere gloriously bizarre and the food... Okay, so they're lying about having actual chips but the french fries they serve instead are pretty damn good and the cocktails were nice too!

Our experience was great. We celebrated our 56 wedding anniversary on Saturday April 27. The food was great , delicious fish and chips and Guinness onion soup., the service was fantastic , and some kind patron paid out bill, whom we would like to thank. We were both emotionally overwhelmed. We love Coopers and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and great food restaurant. Thank u. We came up Thursday April 25th for the great specials you were having and for giving to Saint Joseph's which is just amazing! As busy as it was I can't even tell you how wonderful and friendly everybody was. The food was just outstanding and the service was just as good! We will be back cooper's for sure beyond wonderful place!

We love Coopers. We just returned from there celebrating our 56 wedding anniversary. The food was delicious, the waitress went up and beyond and some kind gentleman overheard it was our anniversary and paid for our meals. We r both emotionally overwhelmed. We always tell everyone if they want a good meal and good service to visit Coopers. Thank you for a memorable day!! We thank our waitress too. She was awesome.

Rebecca/Becky was of the most pleasant and efficient servers we have ever had! 10 people at our table and she handled everyone promptly and with a smile. Told us that she absolutely loves what she does and, I will tell you, it shows. Probably the busiest night of their year as they were celebrating their anniversary and she never broke a sweat! Food was delicious and more than value priced. So much to love about Coopers!

‘‘Twas the night of the anniversary throughout the restaurant. Everywhere you look, you seek people and more people. We were greeted at the front desk and had a 4/10 experience. My husband and I got to our table and it turned immediately into a 10/10 experience. Our stud muffin server Brandon, was running crazy busy, and our food STILL came out super fast, and he even remembered my extra tarter, and no cheese on my salad. He acted like we were the only table in the room. People like him is what makes this industry successful!!!

We went to Cooper's during their 76th anniversary week for some awesome specials. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the wait time much better than last year. Also, they never ran out of food, especially with the huge crowds they had. They planned everything well and give the community something special to look forward to yearly. It's a great place to go to year round.

So enjoyed our time dining at Cooper's during your Anniversary Week. The specials were outstanding! We had almost everything! Manhattan Clam Chowder, Oysters, Coconut Shrimp, Peel and eat Shrimp, Lobster Tails,Shrimp Scampi, Scallops in Lobster Sauce etc. We made a few trips during the week. Kudos to Nicole! Left with her last night and came in today with her!! She and all the staff at Cooper's are awesome!! See you soon!

It was Coopers 80th anniversary celebration week and although we were told it was over an hour wait, we waited about 20 minutes. We hadn't been there in years and the discounted price attracted us. The restaurant is larger than we remembered and is filled with wonderful memorabila. Our server Jessica was excellent and we were "forced" to leave her an "Outstanding Service" gratuity. She checked on us regularly and gave us plenty of time to enjoy our meal. The lobster tail with FF and coleslaw was delicious and we savored every bite. Cannot say enough good things about our experience and we'll be back soon.

I went during their anniversary week. The food was great except for the Manhattan clam chowder which had NO clams! The staff who greet you and tell you your table is ready are VERY on edge, which made me feel uncomfortable. There needs to be at least two staff manning the ticket table for the baskets. The worst part about my experience was the surprise on the bill with the suggested tip being at least 33%!!! It said it was due to the discounted food, but I did not order all discounted food!! Even if I did, a minimum 33% tip suggestion is unheard of and frankly ridiculous!! Why go there for your anniversary week discounted menu if I am expected to pay a minimum 33% tip?? Plus you charge a 3% fee for credit cards! I suggest you remove this suggestion from the bill. I have never been to a restaurant that expects me to give a 1/3 tip! It is unacceptable!

We had an awesome waiter: Sir Keegan He was personable, helpful, friendly and professional. The food was excellent. We had a great meal and a great time! Will definitely be coming back even though we live 50 minutes away.

Rebecca was absolutely awesome! Her service made our experience that much better. The food, as always, was fantastic! Coopers is one of our frequent restaurants for their great atmosphere, food, and servers, and can’t forget about The Office store. Always enjoy perusing after our meal.
