#ThrowbackThursday to the 1920s Erie Passenger Station on N. Washington Ave. in Scranton — the very same spot that’s now home to Cooper’s Seafood House!

1⃣ The original Erie Passenger Station, 1920s Scranton
2⃣ Our AI-enhanced restoration — reviving the details (and even the color!)
3⃣ A vintage Cooper’s ad, showing the restaurant before its many expansions
4⃣ An AI-animated video of the station — bringing the past back to life in motion

Back in the 1920s, this open-air platform welcomed train travelers coming and going through Scranton. By the 1940s, the railroad enclosed the waiting area — which today is our Train Room dining space. The old train shed? That’s where you’re sitting when you enjoy a meal with us. And those sturdy exterior station walls? They’re still here too — now forming the interior walls of our bar.

So when you dine at Cooper’s, you’re not just enjoying seafood — you’re stepping into a living piece of Scranton’s railroad history.
