Coopers Seafood House will hold a soup sale fundraiser to help raise funds and awareness for the Women’s Resource Center In memory of Jeanne Marie McGowan.
Jeanne Marie McGowan was a Scranton native and graduate of Central High School and Marywood University who passed away unexpectedly on January 4, 2021.
She was a beautiful, caring, and compassionate person with a tremendous amount of empathy for those in need, working as an advocate to give them a voice. Jeanne had a wonderfully positive spirit and deeply cared for those she was trying to help, counseling those with mental health issues, providing suicide prevention training, and also focusing on women’s issues.
A personal friend of the family, her light will live on in all of those she counseled, befriended, and helped.
Cooper’s delicious sought-after lobster bisque will be available for only $9.00 a quart with 100% of the proceeds benefiting WRC in memory of Jeanne Marie McGowan.
The soup pick-up is only on January 27th. Soup vouchers are available for pre-sale at Cooper’s Seafood House in Scranton.
