A firkin is a specific size of cask, holding about 10.8 gallons (a quarter of a barrel). Unlike typical beers that are filtered and carbonated with CO₂, firkins contain cask-conditioned beer, which undergoes natural fermentation in the cask, resulting in a unique, unfiltered, and gently carbonated brew. This traditional method offers a distinctive taste experience, often with a softer mouthfeel and enhanced flavors. Learn more about what a firkin is by CLICKING HERE
