Firkin Friday to benefit The Scranton Parade Committee

Fri, February 28 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

RAISE A PINT FOR PARADE DAY!

Join us at Cooper’s Seafood House on February 28th at 5 PM as we tap a firkin of Cooper’s Family Brewing beer to kick off Scranton’s Parade Season!

Every drop of these special cask-conditioned brews goes toward making the Scranton St. Patrick’s Parade unforgettable—helping to bring in amazing pipe bands and create a top-tier parade experience! 100% of firkin sales are donated to support the event.

Come thirsty, come festive, and let’s start the countdown to one of the biggest celebrations in NEPA! ☘️

A firkin is a specific size of cask, holding about 10.8 gallons (a quarter of a barrel). Unlike typical beers that are filtered and carbonated with CO₂, firkins contain cask-conditioned beer, which undergoes natural fermentation in the cask, resulting in a unique, unfiltered, and gently carbonated brew. This traditional method offers a distinctive taste experience, often with a softer mouthfeel and enhanced flavors.  Learn more about what a firkin is by CLICKING HERE
